Hey everybody I have a 2 year old Nubian buck I have been fighting a worm infestation in for Quiet some time now. I have wormed him with both Ivomec and Valbazen with no results so I gave him Cydectin 2 days ago and now he has pretty severe diarrhea. Does anyone know why? If so what should I do?

Can give him scour halt for pigs or probios works for me when there loose, if you have been fighting a worm prob for a long time and useing a lot of wormer then the worms may become reaiatant to wormer..I started using Apple cider vinager in my water and my goats look the best they have ever looked...all have kids on them and there on nothing but grass and sweetlix..fat as can be.
Sometimes the goat will become loose after worming, Hit him with another round of Cydectin and give 10cc probiotics and pull the grain until he gets solid again. For severe worm load I will worm 3x's in 3 days and one more time in 10 days. I would use 6-7cc if he is under 150 lbs and 10cc if he is over 200lbs orally. I would also give 5cc Red Cell every day for 3 days and then when I wormed him again. Hope this helps out.
The reason hes having DIARRHEA is b/c all of the WORM INFESTATION is flushing out his/her system no WORRIES yes hit him/her again w/CYDECTIN these worms needs to come out then give B-COMPLEX & LOTS OF PROBIOTICS for a week & see how he doses. Hope this helps !
