My Bonnie is one year old. She was wormed about 2 weeks ago. She wouldn't come out of the barn today when I went to feed...which is very unusual. She looks like she might be in heat...swollen and reddish in color. But she has black stinky poop on her tail and rear. It's the consistency of glue and smells awful. There was one pile on the barn floor. She feels a little warm like she may have a fever. How do you temp a goat? I gave her pennicillin, 5cc. Her diet consists of hay, chopped corn and rabbit pellets. They have access to hay at all times and the other is fed in a small amount once a day. This diet has not been changed recently. They always have clean water. What could this be? I haven't read any other posts about black stinky poop. Please help! She is a very dear pet and i would hate to lose her. Thank You!!
