i wormed all of my goats last monday with valbazen and today 3 of them have had the black splats.... One of them passed a large tapeworm.... can valbazen cause the scours? i treated them this morning for coccidia and ecoli just in case...

Any worming can cause the scours as you are giving them a poison and any poison will mess up the rumen and intestines. And depending on the worm load can cause an upset in the flora and bacteria in the intestines. Although as you have already done I would probably look at posible cocci.
I would reworm in 10 to 14 days to get any eggs and keep an eye on poo for parts. I wormed 3 times with safeguard for tapes advise from several threds I kept getting tape worm parts in poo!!!I have not tried valbazen yet on a goat with known tapeworms I look at poo after worming to look for tapeworm parts
Who turned on the eletric fence without telling me? X#!
